JESSICA'S RACE hustled from the gate, raced six to seven paths off the inside down the backstretch, tucked four wide through the turn coming under coaxing near the quarter pole, swung five wide for home, rallied to take command at the three-sixteenths, then dug in under growing late threat and held safe to prevail. JOEY THE FISH broke in a step at the start getting away awkward and conceding three to four lengths to the front, chased sluggish early on eight to nine paths off the inside down the backstretch before tucking five then four wide through the turn, began a steady advance from the three-eighths, went six to seven wide into upper stretch, closed in with good courage through the final furlong to threat for it all on the outside but was ultimately repelled to the wire while well clear of the rest for the place honors. DENIECE OF DEGRACE coaxed from the gate, raced six paths off the inside down the backstretch and then three wide through the turn, came under coaxing at the five-sixteenths pressuring the front, swung four wide for home, dug in under a drive and weakened in the final furlong while along for the show honors. MAIZE LOVED LAFFY coaxed from the start, showed the way in hand five paths off the inside down the backstretch and then just off the inside through the turn, spun three wide for home, got collared with three-sixteenths to go and weakened. AMANDA'S FOLLY bumped at the start by MISS BARB, who broke outwards, raced five to six wide down the backstretch and then two to three wide through the turn, came inwards spinning just off the inside into upper stretch placing MISS BARB in tight along the rail, then weakened in the stretch. DARKNSTORMY hustled from the gate, chased four then three wide under coaxing from the three-eighths, swung four to five wide into upper stretch and tired. MISS BARB broke out at the start bumping AMANDA'S FOLLY, chased just off the inside advancing into contention five furlongs out and vying briefly for command until shaken off three furlongs from home, got steadied when put in tight along the rail near the quarter pole, then tired in the drive. BETTING ON A STONE hustled from the gate, chased four wide down the backstretch and then just off the inside through the turn, went three to four wide into upper stretch and tired.
