Chart notes
MAJOR SPARKS saved ground around the first turn, trailed well behind the field up the backstretch, began to improve position while racing in the three path around the final turn and improved position quickly in the stretch to get up late. BEAR CREEK raced in the middle of the pack on the inside through the opening half mile, saved ground around the second bend, began a bid approaching the quarter pole, dueled in the lane and was caught late. FLY FLY AWAY saved ground around the first turn, tracked the leaders on the inside up the backstretch, continued to save ground around the far turn, dueled in the lane and kept on to the finish. SOUTH SEA flipped his head mildly leaving the gate, raced in the three path early, settled in the middle of the pack between horses for the run up the backstretch, began a bid from the three path coming around the far turn, swung wide into the stretch and was outinished late. MOTATAABEQ raced off the pace on the outside around the first turn and up the backstretch, navigated the far turn from the two path and passed tiring horses in the lane. CALL BROS raced in the three path through the opening quarter of a mile, stalked the leader on the outside up the backstretch, continued around the far turn in the two path and faded in the stretch. TREASURE RUN raced in the three path around the first turn, chased the leader up the backstretch, came around the far turn in the two path and weakened in the lane. FRANZ JOSEF led the field from the two path around the first turn and up the backstretch, continued to show the way racing in the three path around the far turn and tired in the stretch. LUCKY LOVER BOY raced in the four path early, continued up the backstretch in the middle of the pack on the outside, came around the far turn in the three and four path and flattened out from there. SEA SPLENDOR raced in the three path around the first turn, settled off the pace on the inside for the run up the backstretch, dropped back while racing in the two path around the far turn and was empty in the stretch.
