Chart notes
BROOKLYN GUY bumped with the horse to his inside at the start, raced in the three path around the first turn, trailed the field on the outside up the backstretch, angled in to save ground coming around the far turn, began a bid approaching the quarter pole, switched outside in upper stretch and gained ground quickly to get up late. JAY BIRD saved ground around the first turn, chased the leader on the inside up the backstretch, challenged from the three path coming around the far bend, kicked clear in upper stretch and dug in but was caught in the final strides. RED OCTOBER raced in the middle of the pack on the inside through the opening half mile, navigated the far turn from the three path and gained ground late. BALLINDINE raced in the two path early, tracked the leaders up the backstretch, came around the second bend in the three path and finished evenly. COPAZO bumped with the horses to both sides leaving the gate, saved ground around the first turn, raced at the back of the pack on the inside up the backstretch, continued around the far turn in the three path and passed tiring horses in the lane. TUMIGA raced off the pace in the two path around the first turn and up the backstretch, came around the second turn in the four path, swung wide into the stretch and made no bid. CORE FACTOR raced in the three path early, continued up the backstretch in the middle of the pack on the outside, navigated the far bend from the four path and faded from there. SLICK EVANS led the way from the two path around the first turn and up the backstretch, dueled while saving ground around the far turn and tired in the lane. PRINCE GHOST bumped with the horse to his inside at the break, raced in the five path around the first turn, continued up the backstretch in the middle of the pack on the outside, stumbled and lost his rider coming around the far turn, was caught and walked off.
