Chart notes
VALE hopped and broke a step slowly at the start, pressed three wide approaching the half mile pole, gained an advantage while tucking two wide entering the turn, cleared while well in hand around that bend, inched further away in upper stretch before being coaxed entering the final furlong, and continued to pull away handily. RAMMER JAMMER cleared early on, but was headed by an outer rival nearing the turn, proved no match while switching outside of that foe turning for home, failed to keep pace while hanging on his left lead nearing midstretch, and remained well clear of show. SPINSTRAWINTO GOLD saved ground while tracking in midpack, then gained show from an outer rival in upper stretch. ICE AXE was off a beat slowly, took the turn in the four path while void of speed, and made little impact. ILLUSIONED raced forwardly between a pair of rivals approaching the half mile pole, but failed to keep pace with the leaving that marker, chased in the three path around the turn, and weakened on his left lead. HE IS WORTHY broke a step slowly, showed little thereafter, and was eased through the lane.
