Chart notes
LANSDOWNE behind the pace while saving ground, traffic late turn while continuing inside, got through along the rail entering the stretch, challenged soon after then kicked well clear the final sixteenth under firm handling. ACEHIGH ROYAL in the second flight while between horses, asked along turning for home, mild bid nearing the furlong grounds, could not match the winner late, up in the final strides for the place. SCHMOOZE broke alertly, cleared to the inside, continued to show the way through the turn, briefly raced on equal terms with the winner nearing midstretch, began to weaken inside the furlong grounds, caught late for the place. DRIFTER void of speed, dropped inside turn, improved position, not a serious threat. IMMORAL lacked early foot, raced three wide turn, failed to muster a closing response. G T THREE FIFTY in the second flight while three wide and between horses through the turn, weakened through the stretch. UPTOWN HUSTLER in mid pack toward the inside, traffic through much of the turn, failed to rally when clear for the drive. VICTORY MARCH within striking distance while outside, four wide turn, tired through the stretch. NAMESAKE four to five wide turn, fell back and trailed home.
