BREEZY GUST vied between rivals for the early lead, dueled inside of EASY DAY passing the quarter pole, battled heads apart with that rival in midstretch, dug in gamely and edged away in the final sixteenth, driving. EASY DAY vied three wide for the lead, dueled outside of BREEZY GUST turning for home, battled heads apart in the stretch, dug in gamely and came up second best. SPLICETHEMAINBRACE tracked on the inside, chased the leaders on the turn, came wide and rallied mildly outside. HE HATE ME was off slowly and steadied, raced two wide off the pace, moved up on the turn and closed belatedly on the rail. FAST BOB raced off the pace inside and failed to threaten. TYCOON was off a bit slow, stalked close up outside, chased three wide on the turn and tired. MARTINKELLY vied inside for the lead, chased on the turn and gave way.
