Chart notes
MOMA TIGER tapered in and stalked the early pace, gave chase from the seven sixteenths pole, took the lead two deep approaching the five sixteenths, dueled clear midway on the far turn and was steadily handled in the lane. AZZURRA saved ground on the first turn and entered the backstretch about the three path, bid leaving the three eighths pole, raced close in the three path of the far turn but proved no match in the lane. MISS CHAMITA saved ground on the first turn, started a bid nearing the seven sixteenths pole, raced at the rail on the far turn then dueled through the stretch for third. QUIET IMAGINATION raced close on the first turn, bid leaving the three eighths pole, rounded the far turn in the two and three paths then outfinished in the stretch duel for third. SHERIFF'S KID rounded the first turn in the three path, gave chase from the seven sixteenths pole and raced in the four path of the far turn, left the turn outside and showed little in the lane. BEARAKONTIE took the lead and moved to the inside to rate the pace, came under pressure leaving the three eighths pole, was caught approaching the five sixteenths and faded through the far turn.
