Chart notes
COASTAL MISSION rated the pace inside, came under pressure approaching the quarter pole, raced at the rail on the far turn and was kept alert to widen. PENGUIN PARADE rounded the first turn in the three path, bid leaving the three eighths pole, raced at the rail on the far turn and had to settle for second. STRONG LIL KOKORO settled off the rail on the opening turn, gave chase leaving the seven sixteenths pole, rounded the far turn off the rail and came along to take third the final strides. ONE NIGHT MIKE stalked the early pace two deep, gave chase nearing the three eighths pole, rounded the far turn off the rail then flattened in the lane. SPANGLISH saved ground on the first turn then eased out into the backstretch, bid toward the seven sixteenths pole, raced in the four path of the far turn and showed little in the lane. CATFISH rated close to the early pace inside, gave chase from the three eighths pole, rounded the far turn near the rail then weakened.
