Chart notes
THUNDER BUGGY bobbled slightly leaving the gate, recovered to led the field on the inside up the backstretch, inched clear while saving ground around the turn and drew off in upper stretch. MAGICGIRL raced off the pace on the outside in the early going, began a bid from the three path coming around the bend and gained ground late. MELANCHOLY BLUES pressed the pace on the outside up the backstretch, raced in the two path around the turn and chased on to the wire. WHISKARITA raced off the pace between horses through the opening quarter of a mile, navigated the turn from the three path and improved position mildly in the lane. KERIK raced off the pace on the inside up the backstretch, came around the bend in the two path and made no bid. AUBURN chased the leaders up the backstretch, began to drop back while racing in the three path around the turn and tired further in the stretch. SIMONELA raced in the middle of the pack on the inside through the opening stages, saved ground around the turn and was empty in the lane.
