Chart notes
SASSY LIKE JULIA raced in the middle of the pack on the inside up the backstretch, began a bid from the four path coming around the turn and kicked clear in the stretch. BID ONCE hit the gate leaving it, recovered to track the leader on the inside through the opening quarter of a mile, challenged while saving ground around the turn and was caught in late stretch but kept on to the wire. LOOK UP TO HEAVEN pressed the pace on the outside up the backstretch, dueled from the three path coming around the turn and continued to battle to the wire but was caught late. GARBO SPEAKS led the way between horses up the backstretch, continued to battle from the two path around the bend and weakened in the final furlong. OIL ON CANVAS raced off the pace on the outside early, angled in to save ground around the turn and never threatened. HOTLINE TO HEAVEN raced in the middle of the pack between horses in the opening stages, navigated the turn from the three path and was empty in the lane. ROYAL GOLD DIGGER trailed the field up the backstretch, raced in the two path around the turn and was never a factor.
