Chart notes
COACH RUBE chased through the backstretch, raced near the rail on the turn, took the lead inside the eighth pole and dueled clear mid-stretch. COLLEGE KID was hustled to the lead at the half mile pole and set a pressured pace, contested the edge nearest the rail on the turn, drifted a path leaving the turn, gave the nod to the winner past the eighth pole and just lasted for second. TIZ THE REASON chased and raced at a close disadvantage two deep on the turn, dug in through the lane and just missed second. LIME AFTER LIME gave chase, rounded the turn about the three path and finished well. THUNDER PUNCH gave chase, rounded the turn at the rail and ran evenly to late stretch before flattening stride. DISTORTED SPLENDOR gave chase through the backstretch, raced in the three path of the turn and showed little in the lane. VICTORY ROYALE chased the pace then flattened at the rail on the turn. AT THE HALF broke a step slow and rounded the turn in the three and four paths.
