Chart notes
SMITHWICK'S SPICE saved ground around the first turn, chased the leader up the backstretch, began a bid from the two path coming around the far bend, kicked clear entering the stretch and held that margin to the wire. FATIMA'S BLESSING raced at the back of the pack on the outside through the opening half mile, swung out to the five path to began a bid nearing the quarter pole and gained ground late. SANDY LANE KITTEN raced in the three path early, settled in the middle of the pack for the run up the backstretch, came around the far turn in the two path and improved position in late stretch. DREAM LINER (BRZ) raced in the four path early, continued up the backstretch off the pace, began a bid from the four path coming around the second bend and was outkicked in the lane. HARD ATTACK saved ground early, raced at the back of the pack on the inside up the backstretch, navigated the far turn from the three path and improved position mildly in the stretch while never threatening. INITFORTHELOVE trailed the field on the outside around the first turn and up the backstretch, came around the far bend in the four path, drifted out in upper stretch and passed tiring horses from there. J BERESFORD TIPTON hit the gate leaving it, saved ground around the first turn, trailed the field on the inside up the backstretch, continued to save ground around the second turn and showed no kick. OHANA EMPIRE raced off the pace in the three path through the opening half mile, moved up while racing in the two path around the far turn and flattened out in the lane. PRAIRIE stumbled leaving the gate, raced in the two path around the first turn, tracked the leaders on the outside up the backstretch, came around the far turn in the three path and faded in the stretch. JUSTINTIMEFORWINE was sent to an early lead while angling in to save ground around the first turn, continued to show the way up the backstretch, dueled from the rail around the far bend and tired in the lane.
