Chart notes
FLAT OUT JOY was off a bit slow in the beginning, stalked the top trio in hand early, took the turn two then three wide, tipped out widest at the top of the stretch, drew alongside SATURDAY HEIST with a sixteenth remaining and dug in late to edge the runner-up. SATURDAY HEIST pressed the pace three deep, challenged for command around the turn, took over at the top of the lane, inched ahead from HENNYS CRAZY TRAIN but was overtaken by the winner in the closing moments. HENNYS CRAZY TRAIN dueled between rivals early, continued to battle with rivals on both sides through the turn, carried a short lead into the stretch, was overtaken by SATURDAY HEIST at the top of the lane and kept on gamely for the show. SOUL SWEET dueled for command inside a pair of rivals, fought through the turn while holding a slim lead, lost command into the stretch and flattened in the furlong grounds. LITTLE RACHEL broke cleanly then dropped back, chased along the inside into and around the bend and never responded to urging.
