UPSTATE AND BACK was allowed to settle early, advanced on the inside on the turn, then slipped through leaving the turn and drew clear in the final furlong to prove best, driving. NEON SIGN dueled for the lead inside of a rival, then made a bid to draw clear on the turn in the two path, then was headed leaving the turn by the winner and proved to be no match for that rival, second best. BRENTFORD was rated along three wide, then made a mild bid four wide on the turn but had no late kick, bested rest. TIEMPO PERFECTO was reserved three wide, then angled out by the sixteenth marker and improved position late. BRODY'S WAR was allowed to settle on the inside and had no rally. LORD UHTRED dueled for the lead three wide, then stalked the pace three wide by the quarter pole and came up empty.
