Chart notes
HELMS DEEP set unchallenged pace on the inside while going fast early, then drew off on the turn, then drifted out late and held sway to prove best, driving. MY MAN POTS N PANS was allowed to settle two wide, advanced three wide on the turn and came four wide into the lane and closed well late. COUSTEAU was five wide into the first turn, then came in entering the first turn, tracked the pace four wide, then made a three wide bid on the turn, then was gaining in the lane, had to alter course in deep stretch, missed place award. TRENDING UP was reserved early, advanced four wide on the turn and lacked a late rally. SOUTHERN BRIDGE was settled early on the inside, shifted out and was wide on the far turn and had no rally. JOJOMAR chased the pace on the inside and weakened. FIRE DOWN BELOW checked four wide into the first turn, then dropped back and had no response. CHRIS AND DAVE tracked the pace in between horses and tired. The rider on CONSTEAU claimed foul against FIRE DOWN BELOW for interference into the first turn, after the STEWARDS reviewed the replays they disqualified FIRE DOWN BELOW from third and placed him seventh.
