Chart notes
WISE VERDICT was allowed to settle down the backstretch then made a four wide bid at the quarter pole, was asked at the eighth pole and he dug in to draw clear in the final yards. CUCINA stalked the pace from the two path down the backstretch, started his bid at the five sixteenths pole then ran into traffic at the end of the final turn then was set down nearing the sixteenths pole for a late run to be up for the place. EXTIRPATOR was unhurried early then moved up around the first turn to vie for the lead to the three sixteenths pole, took over a the top of the stretch and fought gamely to the wire. RUMOHR REIGNS was forwardly placed to midway down the backstretch then took the lead at the five sixteenths pole from under pressure, dueled around the final turn and gave way grudgingly in the stretch. SAMMY DANSEUR JR. was roused to the lead to the three eighth pole then vied for the lead to the three sixteenths pole and weakened. MISCHIEF'S MACHINE was placed off the pace from the inside to the five sixteenths pole and gave way.
