Chart notes
ROISTER hard sent leaving the break and established the early advantage, set moderate fractions while well handled through the backstretch run, drew clear in upper stretch, drew off in the final furlong and was kept to task in the late stages while much the best. ROARING TIGER bumped at the start, recovered to settle off of the early pace while not far back, maintained position to the quarter marker, was no match for the winner in the drive and outfinished BROOKYS TAPIT in the late stages to secure second. BROOKYS TAPIT forwardly placed in the early going, stalked the moderate pace while outside of ROISTER, lost contact with the winner in upper stretch, weakened in the final furlong and was outfinished for place, while holding for show in the late stages. CANYON CREST allowed to settle, saved ground to the quarter marker, mounted a mild late rally and challenged for show but could not secure that placing. ARMOUR PLATE raced four then three wide into the first turn, tracked the moderate pace through the backstretch run, well positioned to the quarter marker, was outrun in upper stretch and tired. WILL IS CHILL slow into stride early on, lagged through the backstretch run and did not threaten in the stretch run. TIMES CHANGED UPON REVIEW.
