Chart notes
IN THE LIMELIGHT took the lead leaving the chute and set a pressured pace, contested the edge nearest the rail on the turn and dug in under steady stretch handling to hold on. B. J. MOOSE ducked in and hit the gate upon exit, gave chase inside, raced in tight at the rail on the turn but dug in leaving the turn and dueled for second. OFFICER STONE chased outside, raced in the three path of the turn then outfinished in the stretch duel for second. GOLDEN ARROW chased through the backstretch, raced near the rail most of the turn, eased outward toward the head of the lane and improved his position. NEEDNOEXPLANATION chased the pace, raced two deep on the turn, was eased to the five path toward the head of the lane and flattened stride. TRAP HOLLER gave chase, raced in the three and four paths on the turn and showed little in the lane. HARLEY SIOUX gave chase through the backstretch but bore out on the turn and entered the stretch wide. MY PHOENIX refused to break.
