Chart notes
CHARGING AERO veered out leaving the gate, recovered to chase the leader on the outside up the backstretch, raced in the three path around the turn, began a bid passing the quarter pole and edged clear late. DRAMA'S PRAYER led the field on the inside through the opening quarter of a mile, continued to show the way from the two path coming around the bend, dueled in the stretch and was caught near the wire. CARRONADE raced off the pace between horses up the backstretch, navigated the turn from the two path and finished evenly. AWESOME ENOUGH hit the gate leaving it, settled in the middle of the pack on the inside for the run up the backstretch, saved ground around the turn, improved position in upper stretch and flattened out in the final furlong. TAP FIRST tracked the leader on the inside up the backstretch, saved ground around the bend and faded in the lane. BLANK'S HAT TRICK raced off the pace on the outside up the backstretch, raced in the three path around the turn, made no bid and was vanned off post race after pulling up in distress.
