Chart notes
FLASHIN ACES was away in good order to duel with KNOCKOUT GUY from the inside, opened a clear margin into the lane and held sway to the wire. MY SWEET LORD was pushed out through the first turn, lacked early foot, raced five-wide through the second turn, angled out into the stretch and finished with good energy. WESTERBERG was void of early speed, saved ground through the second turn, moved up for a striking position but failed to gain in the drive. KNOCKOUT GUY broke sharply to duel for the lead with the winner while racing four-wide and gave way after going three-quarters. SMOKIN' GOOD TIME drifted out to bump rival nearing the seven-eighths marker, settled off the leaders early, moved five-wide through the second turn and lacked the needed rally. IGO lagged after the opening quarter and was eased through the lane.
