Chart notes
POSITIVE PHIL tapered in and raced with the early pace two deep, took the lead leaving the five eighths pole, came under some pressure past the five sixteenths and rounded the far turn near the rail, was kept alert through the upper stretch then taken in hand later yards. SUBJECT TO CHANGE took the lead early and moved to the inside, was met past the five eighths pole and gave chase into the backstretch, rounded the far turn off the rail and settled for second best. CLOSE THE CASE settled off the rail on the first turn, picked up the chase from the three eighths pole, rounded the far turn at the rail and showed little in the lane. MARK DID IT raced off the rail on the first turn, gave chase past the half mile pole, rounded the far turn about the three path and showed little more. RIDICULOUS rounded the opening turn about the three path, gave chase from the three eighths pole but showed little response. BRIGHT DAWN saved ground well off the pace, eased out and gave chase into the backstretch but showed little response. MANOLITO rounded the first turn in the four path, gave chase nearing the seven sixteenths pole but weakened leaving the five sixteenths.
