Chart notes
JACK HAMMER was placed off the pace around the first turn then pressed the pace down the backstretch from the two path to the quarter pole then dueled around the turn and was bumped by MARKS PROMISE when he floated out entering the stretch, took the lead at the eighth pole and fought gamely but was able to draw clear late. MARKS PROMISE went to the lead to set most of the pace to the quarter pole then dueled around the turn, floated out entering the stretch and bumped JACK HAMMER then battled to deep stretch and gave way grudgingly. KING'S LUTE stalked the pace from the three path around the final turn and chased the top two home. THE BOSS SOSS was allowed to settle down the backstretch from off the rail then moved up around the final turn but only passed tiring rivals. GOBOT broke in at the start then was pinched back early and was never a threat. LATE SEPTEMBER raced in the middle of the pack from two or three path around the first turn, made a mild bid into the final turn but failed to menace. A MILLION STARS saved ground while racing in the middle of the pack to the quarter pole and gave way. JOCKEY OBJECTION, JOCKEY OF MARKS PROMISE CLAIMED FOUL AGAINST THE JOCKEY OF JACK HAMMER FOR ALLEGED INTERFERENC ENTERING THE STRETCH, AFTER A STEWARDS REVIEW THE CLAIM OF FOUL WAS DISALLOWED AND NO ACTION WAS TAKEN.
