Chart notes
DIAL HER stalked two deep, challenged leaving the three eighths pole and contested at a close disadvantage through the far turn, dug in determinedly to take over later yards and raced clear nearing the wire. LADY CINCO DE MAYO moved to the inside and rated a short lead, came under pressure leaving the seven sixteenths pole, contested the far turn at the rail and dug in under steady stretch handling, but was met in later yards and yielded approaching the wire. DECISIVE CAUSE rated close to the early pace toward the inside, bid nearing the three eighths pole, rounded the far turn about the three path then flattened the final sixteenth. CUMULONIMBUS rounded the opening turn about the four path, picked up the chase from the seven sixteenths pole, raced near the rail on the far turn and ran evenly in the stretch. TAPPING SOUTH raced in the four path the first turn, gave chase nearing the three eighths pole, ran two deep on the far turn and weakened in the stretch. FASHION ICON saved ground off the pace, gave chase leaving the nine sixteenths pole, rounded the far turn about the three path and showed little in the lane. FORT ZANNA rounded the first turn about the five path, picked up the chase past the three eighths pole and raced in the five path of the far turn.
