Chart notes
SURPRISINGLY saved ground around the first turn, settled off the pace on the inside for the run up the backstretch, began to move up from the rail coming around the far turn, launched a full bid in upper stretch and gained ground quickly through the final furlong to get up late. SCOTISH STAR (ARG) raced in the two path around the first turn, stalked the leaders on the outside up the backstretch, began a bid from the three path coming around the turn and dueled to the wire, narrowly missing. MARKETSEGMENTATION saved ground around the first turn, tracked the leaders on the inside up the backstretch, switched outside to challenge from the two path coming around the far bend, dueled the length of the stretch and was caught late. PANAMA RED (IRE) dueled on the inside around the first turn and up the backstretch, continued to battle while saving ground around the second turn, dug in in upper stretch and gave way in the final furlong. SPIRIT AND GLORY (IRE) raced in the four path around the first turn, settled in the middle of the pack on the outside for the run up the backstretch, came around the second bend in the three path and finished evenly. SHE'S GONE raced at the back of the pack on the outside through the opening half mile, continued around the far turn in the three path and made a mild improvement of position in the lane while never threatening. OMIXOCHITL raced in the three path around the first turn, continued up the backstretch in the middle of the pack between horses, navigated the far turn still in the three path and showed no kick. OURAIKA (FR) trailed the field while saving ground around the first turn and up the backstretch, raced in the three path around the far turn and never fired. OLIVIAOFTHEDESERT raced in the two path around the first bend, settled at the back of the pack on the inside for the run up the backstretch, navigated the far turn from the two path and was empty from there. BEACHFRONT BID saved ground around the first turn, continued up the backstretch in the middle of the pack on the inside, began to drop back while racing on the rail around the far bend and faded in the lane. DAKOTA DANCER raced in the two path early, chased the leaders on the outside up the backstretch, continued around the far turn still in the two path and tired in the stretch.
