MY MIRACLE MAN closed to the lead passing the thirteen sixteenths pole and moved to the inside to rate the pace, came under pressure toward the three eighths, contested the edge nearest the rail on the far turn and dug in under steady encouragement to hold off BET ON BITZ, who rated close off the rail and gave chase nearing the three eighths pole, contested at a close disadvantage off the rail on the far turn and was outfinished in the duel through the stretch. PLAYBOY ROY saved ground off the pace, bid past the seven sixteenths pole and and rounded the far turn at the rail, was outfinished in the stretch duel for second but held on for third. MAKE THE WAY CLEAR rated close inside, bid nearing the three eighths pole and rounded the far turn about the three path, and finished evenly while gaining on third. GARITOFF rounded the first turn about the three path, gave chase into the backstretch but weakened off the rail on the far turn. LIGHTNING LAD raced well off the pace in the two and three paths the first turn, entered the backstretch outside, bid toward the three eighths pole and rounded the far turn about the six path. DOMINANT FACTOR saved ground racing well back, gave chase into the backstretch, rounded the far turn at the rail and ran evenly in the lane. GORUN entered the first turn about the six path, gave chase past the half mile pole then weakened in the four path of the far turn.
