Chart notes
K V TARGET was allowed to settle around the first turn then made a three or four wide bid at the five sixteenths pole and ran down the leader to clear late. PAC THE PULPIT raced in the middle of the pack around the first turn then moved up from three wide down the backstretch and around the final turn, fought gamely in the stretch to be just up for the place. FLAT OUT FABIO pressed the pace down the backstretch then took the lead before the quarter pole, drew away into the stretch but was caught in the final yards. MULETRAIN settled in the middle of the pack around the first turn then moved up the rail on the backstretch and improved position in the stretch. ANGOLA VACATION raced near the back to the middle of the backstretch then made a four or five wide bid at the five sixteenths pole for a late rally. CHECKULATER was rushed to the lead to the five sixteenths pole and tired. CITY BOY EASTWOOD tracked the leaders to the five sixteenths pole and gave way. T D Z HI COURT stalked the pace from the two path around the first turn and retreated. VERDUNVILLE was outrun and jogged in.
