Chart notes
CHESAPEAKE CHARLIE settled off the pace about the five path, started a bid leaving the seven sixteenths pole and took the lead two deep past the quarter pole, raced at the rail on the far turn and was steadily handled in the lane. CAIRO BOOGIE raced well back from early contention, bid leaving the seven sixteenths pole, raced two deep on the far turn and cleared second mid-stretch. LIL TOUGHMAN raced with the early pace two deep and took the nod at the nine sixteenths pole, came under pressure nearing the three eighths, but was met past the quarter and weakened leaving the far turn. PLUNK stalked the earlier pace from the three and four paths, picked up the chase from the seven sixteenths pole, rounded the far turn about the three path then flattened in the lane. MASTER THIS raced off the pace in the two and three paths, picked up the chase from the seven sixteenths pole, raced at the rail on the far turn and showed little in the lane. STAVANGER saved ground racing well back, eased out and gave chase into the backstretch, rounded the far turn about the six path and weakened in the lane. CITIZEN'S FIRE set the early pace inside, was met and gave chase from the nine sixteenths pole, but dropped back approaching the three eighths and faded into the far turn. FRONT PORCH saved ground, gave chase leaving the seven sixteenths pole but weakened in the five path of the far turn. CHAMPAGNE JAM loped along and was eased the final quarter mile.
