Chart notes
VARSITY FLYGIRL stalked the pace from the three path around the first turn then moved up down the backstretch and vied for the lead around the final turn, collared the leader in the final sixteenth to prove best. DIANNA'S JET went to a pressured lead to the top of the stretch then was challenged at the top of the stretch and fought gamely to hold on to the place. GOODNIGHTLOVING was allowed to settle around the first turn then steadily advanced down the backstretch, made a four wide bid on the final turn for a late run and just missed the place. GIRL THIRSTY was unhurried to the final turn then made a rail bid and slipped through into the upper stretch but was too late. FASTED tracked the leaders from the two path to the final turn then weakened but was able to pass tiring rivals in the stretch. CAVE CREEK pressed the pace from the two path to the five sixteenths pole and gave way. KATIE'S KARAT was placed off the pace from the inside around the first turn then moved up from three wide down the back stretch to vie for the lead from between horses to the quarter pole and dropped back.
