Chart notes

JEDREK away in good order, ,dueled up front closest to the inside, disposed of that rival midway on the final turn, shrugged off a second foe entering the stretch, turned back another rival from the inside with less than a furlong remaining, held the runner up safe late in a determined effort. GREATHEART lacked speed along the inside, continued to save ground second turn, closer, rail bid nearing midstretch, failed to sustain that advance late, saved part of the place. MAHAAMEL raced in the second flight while off the inside, remained within striking distance between horses in the far turn, lost position in traffic late in that bend, steered out midstretch, found best too late to be rapidly getting to the winner in the waning strides while finishing on equal terms with GREATHEART. CARNIVORE void of speed, off the inside, came three wide for the drive, displayed some mild interest to improve position without posing a serious threat. ICARUS five wide into the first turn, remained within striking distance outside, three wide for the drive, was tiring when in tight late. MIACOMET off a step slow, trailed early, continued back final turn, lacked response stretch. STELLAR TAP dueled up front outside the winner for six furlongs and gave way.
