Chart notes
ICE QUEEN raced up close while keen early then stalked inside, tipped two wide on the far turn, surged to the front in upper stretch, led clear into the final sixteenth and held well. DOLLY MAY (IRE) allowed to fall back early and moved into the two path, swung out into the lane, closed widest in the stretch while drifting inward a bit late and proved second best. VIOLET STORM brushed leaving the gate, settled in the two path, went three wide into the far turn, moved out and entered the stretch five wide and got outkicked for the place honors. BALI DANCER bumped leaving the gate, sped to the front in the two path then cleared inside rival and moved over to the inside, set the pace under pressure to the far turn, vied inside rivals into the lane, lost command in upper stretch and flattened to fourth. CHEERFUL CHARM stalked the pace from inside then between into the backstretch, got boxed in between foes on the far turn then moved out and came three to four wide into the lane, raced behind traffic in upper stretch and failed to rally after gaining a clear path. SENSIBLE MOVE bumped at the start, tracked four wide early, raced in range three deep in the middle stages, bid three deep with a quarter mile left to run, could not kick on with the leader entering the final furlong and weakened. A CROWN FOR KITTEN settled inside, ran up behind rival at the quarter pole and could not rally once in the clear. LIZY D chased three wide early then went up to press the pace from outside, fought three deep into the lane and faded.
