Chart notes
SEAN THE HAMMER took a quick lead and moved to the inside to rate the pace, was urged away leaving the five sixteenths pole then kept alert through the stretch. SPARKLING SHIRE came away a bit awkwardly then settled off the rail on the opening turn, picked up the chase from the three eighths pole, raced at the rail on the far turn and dueled for second past the eighth pole. CRYPTIC CODE raced well back toward the inside on the first turn, eased out leaving the turn and bid past the three eighths pole, rounded the far turn about the four path, swung to the outside entering the stretch and came along for third later yards. WILLIAM'S CAUSE stalked the early pace off the rail, picked up the chase leaving the three eighths pole, raced off the rail on the far turn then flattened in the lane. WICKOSITY raced off the pace about the four path, gave chase leaving the seven sixteenths pole but flattened in the three path of the far turn. DULINI raced well off the pace and off the rail the first turn, left the turn toward the outside and showed little response. TO LIVE IS TO LOVE saved ground.
