Chart notes
HAPI HAPI raced five-wide through both turns, pressed the pace while racing five-wide, moved up to offer a bid nearing the five-sixteenths pole, vied with STEAL HOME through a vigorous drive and drew off through the closing yards. STEAL HOME raced four-wide through the first turn, moved up to offer a bid nearing the quarter, vied with the winner through a prolonged drive but could not match strides with that rival late. FAMILY BIZ was off slow, raced unhurried early, saved ground through the second turn, angled out in mid-stretch and finished willingly. LOOKIN FOR EIGHT showed no early speed, raced six-wide through the second turn and finished with a belated bid. GRAVES MILL ROAD settled off the leaders early, checked nearing the quarter, raced three-wide through the second turn, angled in further in mid-stretch and failed to rally. TWO GUNS dueled for the lead with EL NOBLE while racing three-wide and weakened after going three-quarters. EL NOBLE was away in good order to dispute the pace with TWO GUNS while racing four-wide and weakened after going five furlongs.
