Chart notes
TONE FEELIN set the pace very wide down the backstretch, angled into the two path nearing the turn, edged clear around the bend and widened under a mild stretch drive. RHYMES LIKE DIMES saved ground off the pace and ran on inside to gain the place late. SMALL REASON hit the starting gate, advanced three wide around the turn and flattened out in the lane. BOBBY'S GIFT had early speed, raced three wide around the turn and was through after a half. EXAMINER was outrun while racing four wide. PRINCE MAIOR had early speed then retreated inside around the turn. THIS RACE WAS ORIGINALLY HAND-TIMED, TIMES CHANGED UPON REVIEW.
