Chart notes
DEVIL'S CANYON rated the pace inside, came under pressure nearing the quarter pole, widened at the rail on the far turn and was steadily handled in the stretch. COMEONTURNMELOOSE saved ground on the first turn, picked up the chase nearing the seven sixteenths pole, raced off the rail on the far turn then dueled through later yards for second. COLONIAL ROAD rounded the first turn in the three path, gave chase approaching the three eighths pole, steadied in tight at the rail leaving the far turn then outfinished in the later duel for second. S S SPARTAN ENERGY raced in the three path the first turn, bid nearing the three eighths pole and rounded the far turn in the three path, then flattened inside the sixteenth pole. CRISTIANO BOY saved ground, picked up the chase toward the seven sixteenths pole, rounded the far turn about the four path and showed little in the lane. TRAP HOLLER stalked the early pace two deep, picked up the chase toward the three eighths pole, rounded the far turn off the rail then weakened. ROCKET BALLAD rounded the opening turn in the five path, left the turn outside and gave chase toward the three eighths pole, but showed little response. COOL DUDE steadied into the backstretch and was not a factor. HARDIN raced well back saving ground.
