Chart notes
SHADOW BOX took the lead nearing the three quarter pole and rated the pace, came under pressure leaving the three eighths pole, widened at the rail on the far turn and was steadily handled in the lane. MOSES WATER settled off the rail on the opening turn, bid nearing the three eighths pole and raced at the rail on the far turn, then dueled through the stretch for second. FANEUIL HALL stalked off the rail, picked up the chase toward the three eighths pole, rounded the far turn at the rail, eased out leaving the turn then outfinished in the stretch duel for second. SURPRISE HELLO rated close inside on the first turn, eased out into the backstretch and gave chase toward the three eighths, rounded the far turn in the three path and flattened in the lane. ADARA rounded the first turn about the three path, picked up the chase toward the three eighths pole, raced near the rail on the far turn and weakened. SHAKIN IT BIG TIME saved ground. SHAMELESS APPEAL came away awkwardly then saved ground off the pace, showed little response through the backstretch and was eased the final quarter mile.
