Chart notes
TOMMY SHELBY stalked inside leaving the half mile pole, gave chase nearing the three eighths pole and dueled at even terms from that point, contested the rail through the far turn, raced clear past the eighth pole and was steadily handled in the lane. PROTA took the lead three wide approaching the nine sixteenths pole and rated the pace, came under pressure toward the three eighths, was met at the five sixteenths, contested the far turn at even terms two deep, dropped back leaving the eighth pole but carried on in an even finish. FRANKEE MERCH saved ground close to the early pace, gave chase nearing the seven sixteenths pole, rounded the far turn off the rail then dueled through the stretch for third. HAPPY CHAMP saved early ground, bid nearing the seven sixteenths pole, raced three wide on the far turn then outfinished in the stretch duel for third. CAYENNE CREEK saved ground on the first turn, picked up the chase toward the three eighths pole, raced in the four path of the far turn and showed little further. FORT FORTITUDE raced well back in the three and four paths, left the first turn outside and gave chase from the seven sixteenths pole, rounded the far turn in the five path and had little left. PENNSYLVANIA STEEL had a brief early lead inside, was caught at the nine sixteenths pole and gave chase into the backstretch, but faded at the rail on the far turn. SUGAR DADDY rounded the first turn about the six path, made a bid leaving the seven sixteenths pole, raced at the rail on the far turn and weakened in the lane. ROSE'S GALAXY raced in the five path the first turn and rated close into the backstretch, gave chase toward the seven sixteenths pole but faded past the three eighths. U ROCK IT rounded the opening turn in the four path, picked up the chase from the three eighths pole but faded in the three path of the far turn.
