NIMITZ CLASS broke sharply, disputed the pace to the inside of AIN'T DA BEER COLD while under a light hold, disposed of that one when roused soon into the lane, opened up under stout right handed asking nearing mid stretch then widened while solidly hand ridden the final seventy yards. OURNATIONONPARADE , between runners while close up past the seven eighths, tracked the leaders outside a rival through the backstretch run, came under a ride and took aim three wide approaching the stretch, could not make inroads in mid stretch but continued on with good energy to be second best. AIN'T DA BEER COLD , hustled up three wide into the first turn and joined the winner, vied outside that one to about the quarter pole, failed to match strides from there, gave way grudgingly in the final furlong and dug in late to preserve the show. TREASURE TROVE , brushed at the break, was taken to rate to the inside of rivals, was under asking past the five sixteenths, eased out and offered a mild response. FOREWARNED , four wide around the first turn, lost ground five wide outside rivals past the five eighths, continued well wide into the lane and finished with interest. DOUBLE CROWN , brushed at the break, was rated along between runners, raced three wide under a ride into the lane but came up empty. VANCE SCHOLARS , three deep the first turn, was caught four wide between runners through the backstretch run, dropped back nearing the far turn while under a ride, shifted out six wide and lacked a recovery. PLOT THE DOTS , well placed while saving ground and tracking the embattled leaders, failed to kick on under pressure past the five sixteenths and weakened. ARMANDO R lagged well back and failed to respond when called upon.
