Chart notes
WIN FOR GOLD dueled early on from the two path before steadily shaking away through the turn, cut the corner into upper stretch, went clear under a drive to the eighth pole, then held well to the finish. CHARGER four to five wide in pursuit, came under coaxing at the three-eighths, angled five to six wide into upper stretch and offered up a mild kick. HOLEY MATRIMONY coaxed from the gate, chased four to five wide under coaxing from the three-eighths, swung five wide into upper stretch and kept on to secure the show honors. JOKEMEISTER chased along the inside and then three wide through the turn, swung three then two wide into upper stretch and weakened. CATCHING CUPID coaxed from the gate, chased along the inside down the backstretch and then just off the inside through the turn under coaxing from midway, spun just off the inside for home and tired. FENWAY dueled from the three path briefly with WIN FOR GOLD before being shaken off through the turn steadily under coaxing from the seven-sixteenths, swung four wide for home and folded. JELLY NOUGAT chased three to four wide, suffered an injury to the rear left leg near the three-eighths pole and was immediately placed to a protective hold and steadily eased up and guided outside near the head of the stretch, then got pulled up, was examined by the veterinarian and euthanized on track.
