ERNIE BANKER was unhurried early on then saved ground on the turn, rallied and angled out to be three wide in mid stretch and was in a strong drive to be along in time. EMPIRE OF GOLD broke through the gate prior to the start, was reloaded then dueled for the lead while inside, drew off in mid stretch but was caught in late stretch. DAME PLATA was stalking the pace while inside into the turn, made a bid then moved out to be four wide in upper stretch but was no menace in late stretch. PIKNITUPLAYNITDOWN broke through the gate prior to the start, reloaded then dueled for the lead while two wide, was hard used then gave way. CHIEF RON chased the early pace while three wide into the turn, was used up then faltered in the drive. PRINCE RAMA was two wide on the backstretch and used up then faltered in the stretch drive.
