Chart notes
METAROSE was away in good order to stalk the leaders while racing three-wide, moved up to offer a bid nearing the quarter, vied and was up in time. GYPSY WIFE raced unhurried early, saved ground through the second turn, remained inside for the drive, offered a bid in mid-stretch, vied and just missed. TALES OF MAKENNA pressed the pace while racing five-wide, moved up to engage with a furlong to run, vied and missed. MI REYNA sprinted clear at once, responded when challenged nearing the quarter, vied and gave way through the final furlong. MIDNIGHT GARDEN lacked early speed, raced six-wide through the second turn and was not a factor.
