Chart notes
FREEDOM IS RINGING chased through the backstretch, raced in the four and five paths of the turn, dug in for the lead mid-stretch and edged clear the final yards. MATH MAN MARCO contested the pace from the start and took the nod past the three eighths pole, exchanged contact with Be Be Bop passing the five sixteenths pole, held the edge nearest the rail on the turn, but was met mid-stretch and relented the final yards. BLACK CANDY gave chase inside, raced at the rail on the turn and dug in through the stretch to hold third. FOREVER TAKES TIME gave chase through the backstretch, raced two deep on the turn, angled to the outside leaving the turn and finished evenly while gaining on third. MAJESTIC SEAS dueled from the start and exchanged contact with BE BE BOP leaving the five sixteenths pole, contested at a close disadvantage on the turn then flattened toward mid-stretch. BE BE BOP dueled from the start but was jostled between horses leaving the five sixteenths pole, dropped back past the quarter, continued close through the turn but weakened leaving the eighth pole.
