Chart notes
PRIME TIME PLAYER pressed the pace and made a three wide bid to vie for command by the half mile marker, drew clear on the turn, then drew off leaving the turn and was ridden out to prove much the best. SAILOR SPEED was off slowly, shifted to the inside and advanced on the inside by the half mile marker, shifted out on the turn and was four wide by the quarter pole, came five wide into the lane and was along for the place award. OVER AND THUNDER stalked the early pace four wide, made a three wide bid on the turn, but flattened out, lost place late, bested rest. TURNS was settled three wide and lacked a rally. VIOLENT PASS was well placed on the inside and weakened. HOLD THE IRISH lacked a rally. EYE OF GUNFIGHTER was four wide and had no response. ACT OF VALOR set a pressured pace on the inside and was through after a half mile.
