Chart notes
RELISHMENT was allowed to settle early, made a four wide middle move to take over leaving the backstretch, drew clear on the turn and then drew off to prove much the best, driving. WEEKEND IN COURT was void of early speed, advanced on the turn, came four wide into the lane, shifted in by the furlong marker and rallied for the place award. POLITICAL was off slowly, settled back early, advanced four wide on the far turn, came five wide into the lane and was along for the show award. CONTRAFLOW was well placed early on the inside, shifted out leaving the seven sixteenths, three wide advanced on the turn but weakened in the lane. TRUE GOLD tracked the early pace three wide, made a bid to take over nearing the half mile marker, then chased the winner two wide on the turn and tired. AXXERATOR was allowed to settle on the in side and had no response. MY MAN ELVIS was settled three wide and tired. COMPOUND IT was hustled early to get to the front and was through after a half mile.
