Chart notes
LORD CAPTAIN stalked the pace down the backstretch then engaged the leader at the three eighths pole, leader pulled away around the turn then was came back willingly to win going away. STOMPING HOTROD went to the lead around the first turn was headed at the three eighths pole and made a rebid at the quarter pole to draw clear but tired in the stretch but held the place. MOTATAABEQ was pinched back after the start, then was allowed to settle around the first turn then moved up from four wide down the backstretch and made a late kick to be up for the show. FIRST AVENUE stalked the pace from the three path to the top of the stretch then angled in and gave late effort but was out finished. THE FEATURE was rank around the first turn then saved ground to the final turn made a three wide bid in upper stretch showing late interest. BILOXI was off the pace on the inside but failed to menace. WILSON TO LOCKETT was away alertly while veering in at the start, was allowed to settle around the first turn but was not a threat. CHICKEN TRUCK tracked the leaders in the two path to the three eighths pole and gave way.
