Chart notes
OLD TOWN ROAD prompted the early pace along the inside, patiently waited along the rail around the turn and was cued thru an opening at the top of the lane, bid passing the eighth pole, and drew past the outer pacesetter nearing the sixteenth pole to win. BEN COPENHAGEN set the pace in the two path, was roused while shifting inside around the turn, floated out to the three path into the stretch, lost the lead approaching the final sixteenth, and ran on to hold place. POUND GREEN tracked in the two path, was cued in the three path around the turn and shifted out to the six path into the stretch, and kept on for show. FROLIC MAN stalked in the four path, took aim in the three path around the turn and was driven in the five path into the lane, and evened out in the final furlong. SILENT CHAOS trailed in the two path early and shifted to the rail into the turn, was roused passing the three-eighths pole and tipped out to the six path into the stretch, but was no factor. LONG BEACH KID rated in the four path but was no menace in the eight path in the stretch.
