Chart notes
SHIPS LOG showed good early speed to set the pace from the outside and drew off to be well clear under a steady hand ride. TIZ BRIGHTER chased the early pace, raced two to three wide and was no match for the winner. LUCKWOULDHAVEIT was hustled early, raced three to four wide and kept on to the wire. WILLHE LOVE was off slowly, moved up five wide in the land made a late gain. BER MIS BOY raced mid pack early on, was four deep at the eighth pole and had no closing run. TOO MANY CAPTAINS dropped back early, raced from the inside around the far turn through the stretch and had no response. LUCKY LIQUOR SHOT raced three deep around the far turn and never was a factor. CRAZY STEELE off pace, raced inside around the far turn and never menaced. QUEEN OF GOLD was hustled along and faltered.
