Chart notes
MIGHTY MINION stalked the early pace toward the inside, closed to the lead two deep approaching the quarter pole and raced clear past the pole, widened at the rail on the far turn then kept sharp through the lane. MILLBANK MAN broke a step slow then saved ground, picked up the chase nearing the seven sixteenths pole, raced in the four path of the far turn and dug in through the lane to share second under the wire. HOME SCHOOL ducked out leaving the gate then saved ground on the first turn, gave chase nearing the three eighths pole, rounded the far turn off the rail and dug in through the stretch to hold second. RECKLESS AFFAIR broke a step slow and settled off the pace about the three path, gave chase into the backstretch, rounded the far turn about the three path and ran evenly through the lane. WILDERZAR raced well back off the rail on the first turn, eased out into the backstretch and gave chase leaving the three eighths pole, but weakened in the five path of the far turn. MR MAJESTIC rated the pace inside, came under pressure approaching the three eighths pole, was met toward the quarter and gave way at the rail on the far turn.
