Chart notes
FLASH FLOOD tracked the leaders from the inside, moved up to offer a bid nearing the quarter, bumped with SMILING THUNDER into the lane, opened a clear margin with a furlong to run and drew off. SMILING THUNDER was away in good order to set a pressured pace while racing three-wide, responded when challenged by the winner nearing the quarter, bumped with that rival nearing the three-sixteenths pole, could not match strides with the winner but was clearly second best. QUEENS RANSOM bobbled at the start, recovered quickly to press the pace while racing four-wide and gave way after going a half. LATER DAYS was forwardly placed early, moved six-wide through the turn and finished evenly. LOVE YA MOST lacked early foot, raced three-wide through the turn and was not a factor. JAZZY EINSTEIN showed no early speed, raced five-wide through the turn and did not offer a bid. FEARLESS FACTOR raced off the pacesetters early, moved four-wide through the turn and weakened.
