Chart notes
STAY HAPPY dueled for the lead with FIRST CALL from the inside, vied with that rival through a prolonged drive and proved best in the closing yards. FIRST CALL was away in good order to dispute the pace with the winner while racing three-wide, vied through a vigorous drive and just missed. LINCHTOWN was reserved just off the leaders early, moved four-wide through the turn and finished with a steady bid. MARICOPA COUNTY showed no early speed, raced four-wide through the turn and did not threaten. XTREME MAYHEM lacked early foot, raced three-wide through the turn and was not a factor. YOLA settled off the leaders early, moved five-wide through the turn and weakened.
