Chart notes
MAYCEE JO broke alertly and assumed command in the early stages, set a pressured pace to the quarter marker while carving out decent fractions, shook free from her stablemate at the top of the lane, was confronted again by CROWN KITTEN inside of the sixteenth-marker and dug in in the final strides to secure the win. CROWN KITTEN chased the decent early pace, advanced to press her stablemate to the quarter marker, lost ground to MAYCEE JO in upper stretch, came again inside of the furlong marker, closed well under firm urging in deep stretch and just missed for the win, while besting the rest. MISS ARROWHEAD chased the decent early fractions, steadied while between runners nearing the half-mile marker, advanced while three wide on the turn, lost ground in upper stretch, was outkicked in the final furlong and finished evenly in deep stretch, while holding on for show. TAKES A VILLAGE chased the decent early pace from the inside, lost ground in upper stretch, ran evenly in the final furlong and did not offer a late response. NAN ELIZABETH bobbled at the start and was off a step slowly, lacked early speed, raced three wide into the stretch and did not threaten. HEAT SEEKING LETA took back off of the decent early pace, saved ground on the turn and was not a factor.
